On the Costa Daurada you will find places specialized in cycling tourism. Close to the sea Cambrils, Salou and Vila-seca, La Pineda Platja, or inland: Mont-roig del Camp - Miami Platja. They are all certified and guarantee that you will find everything you need to practice your favourite sport.
The Vuelta will once again bring top level international cycling to the Costa Daurada on 26 August. The stage will pass through some of the most distinctive landscapes of the region’s inland areas, starting in Falset, the capital of the Priorat county and a leading wine tourism destination. From there, the race will pass through Marçà, surrounded by vineyards and Mediterranean scenery, before continuing to Capçanes, a village with a long tradition linked to the world of wine. The route will then head towards Els Guiamets, where riders will encounter a unique natural setting shaped by the reservoir and the characteristic landscape of the area. This stage will provide an excellent opportunity to showcase to the world the scenic, cultural and gastronomic richness of inland Costa Daurada, combining the excitement of elite sport with some of the region’s most authentic locations.
