BICYCLE TOURISM AND MTB Road routes

ROUTE SEA AND MOUNTAIN

From the sea to the mountains: from the beaches of fine golden sand to the mountain ranges of the pre-coastal area. This route will allow you to enjoy a unique landscape sheltered by rural villages where agriculture is still the main economic activity and the vineyards and olive trees are a picturesque treasure.

The route starts in Cambrils, the gastronomic capital of the Costa Daurada, and continues towards Mont-roig del Camp. From here, you head towards Priorat through La Torre de Fontaubella, located in the southeast of the region, to continue through Marçà, which enjoys a unique natural environment with the Pallissa (barn), which has a mandatory stop.

The return to the coast takes us through Falset, an architectural gem with the modernist winery designed by César Martinell, to continue to Duesaigües with two bridges, built in 1893, to cross the Enseula and Massos ravines.

Do you want to complete your day?

Cambrils, on the seafront, offers you rich gastronomy with all the best of the sea.

Marçà, in the Priorat region, preserves the public washing places from 1864 right next to the public fountain. Stop, also, at the barn, a natural reservoir of red earth located in the basin of the stream of Marçà.

Falset, the capital of the Priorat, preserves, within its walls, authentic medieval treasures such as the Quartera square where we find the Palace of the Dukes of Medinacelli and the Jewish quarter.

Duesaigües has two bridges that are unique to cross the ravines of Enseula and Masos. In addition, one of them has been declared an element of the industrial heritage.

Riudecanyes, the reservoir was created through the Municipality of Reus initiative to ensure water supply in the town.
