CULTURAL ATTRACTIONS MUSEUMS, INTERPRETATION CENTRES AND OBSERVATORIES

The Tarragona Biblical Museum was founded in 1930 by Dr Josep Vallés. Its collection consists of archaeological finds, maps, reproductions and objects of worship related to the Biblical world that he collected on his travels in the Holy Land and other countries of the Middle East. The museum has gone through different phases and at one point it was about to be closed. Its current home is in the Casa dels Concilis, near the Cathedral. It organises workshops for schools.
