Route description 
In the Alt Camp region, one of the most special routes is the one proposed by the popular La Pica cycling tour which, year after year, concentrates hundreds of bikes to pedal along the tracks of Serra de Miramar mountains, one of the ranges of L'Alt Camp region. This route has as its starting point and end the small village of Picamoixons, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, with vineyards, almond trees and olive trees. The route includes passing through the nuclei of Fontscaldes, Miramar and Masmolets. It is worth stopping at Masmolets, a small village surrounded by vineyards.

Points of interest: If you are staying in the area, we recommend you visit the  Monestir de Santes Creus, which is part of the renowned Cistercian route. Valls is also located near this route, cradle of `calçotada´ and the `castellers´ (Grilled Onions Feast and Human Towers). In Valls, Plaça del Blat Square, which is where the Town Hall is located, is a place of reference for the human castles in Catalonia.

A calçotada (grilled onions meal) in Masmolets 

In the small village of Masmolets we recommend you stop on the way to visit  Cal Ganxo, a restaurant located in an old Mediterranean style manor house of the 18th century where you can taste - from November to April - with the five senses the real traditional calçotada (grilled onions). 

Visit to the Iberian oven of Fontscaldes

Do you want to know a little bit of history? The Iberian oven of Fontscaldes, is located on the Montblanc Road before undertaking the ascent of the Coll de Lilla, in the middle of a vineyard next to this village.
