World Heritage The Late Roman Times

The Local Forum or Forum of the Colonia was the religious and social centre of the city built around 30 BC. Only part of its basilica and the remains of some streets and houses have been preserved. This site is managed by the Tarragona Museum of History and is part of the Roman Tarraco archaeological complex declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000.
