World Heritage The Late Roman Times

Les Ferreres Aqueduct

Les Ferreres Bridge, also known as the Pont del Diable (Devil’s Bridge), is part of one of two aqueducts that brought water to the city of Tarraco in the Roman period. It was built in the 1st century BC to cross a natural valley. It has two rows of arches and is 217 m long, 27 m high and almost 2 m wide. The water channel is believed to have been covered. The site is managed by the Tarragona Museum of History.
