Beaches and Coves Beaches
Platja de Becs (Cala de la Roca Plana)
Becs Beach in Tarragona, also known as Cala de la Roca Plana, is, together with Cala Fonda, one of the coastal areas of Tarragona with the greatest ecological value. Popular with nudists, it is a small unspoilt cove, quite hard to get to, but with beautiful surroundings that have been designated an Area of Natural Interest. It can be reached via the spectacular coastal footpath that connects all the beaches of Tarragona with those of Altafulla and Torredembarra.
Just over 200 metres long, Becs Beach has fine, golden sand and easy access to the warm, calm, crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean. Although it is a long walk to get there, once you arrive you realise you are in paradise, in an oasis of tranquillity.
The only facilities offered by Becs Beach are litter and recycling bins.
