Cala de la Vinya
Cala de la Vinya (Vineyard Cove) in Salou, the tourism capital of the Costa Daurada, is a small but very popular urban beach some 44 metres long. Located in the Cap Salou area and flanked by rocks at both ends, its fine, golden sands slope gently into calm, crystalline waters, making it ideal for families with children. Despite its small size, it offers a wide range of rental services.
Also known as Cala Pinetell, it can be accessed from Salou’s coastal footpath and from it you can enjoy different water sports and leisure activities, mainly non-motorised pedalos. Cala de la Vinya also has a sea route for practicing the discipline of open water swimming and is part of the triathlon route runs past Cala de la Font and Platja Llarga beaches.
Cala de la Vinya also offers numerous services for visitors, including a lifeguard, a first aid post and a beach bar. It also has the ISO 14001 standard certificate that accredits its excellent environmental and health quality.
