We start at the highest point, Mont-ral, east of Muntanyes de Prades. This beautiful village provides visitors with a rich range of activities, which include climbing, potholing and hiking routes for the whole family. Surrounded by a landscape full of forests and rocky areas, Mont-ral is rich in chasms and caves, rivers and ponds, which turn it into a beautiful location.

Outside of Nulles, take a short walk to Casafort, a tiny neighbourhood with about a dozen houses that has remained true and untouched, where every detail you discover is even more beautiful that the one before that. You can also witness the remains of an old fortified house the village was actually named after.

Just 3 miles from Nulles, find Bràfim, the perfect location to try local vermouth, while visiting the beautiful facilities where this wine flavoured with spices is produced and enjoying dozens of details and a delicious tasting.

A hermitage and a visitable garden

Josep Maria Jujol, the prestigious Modernist architect and disciple of Antoni Gaudí, awarded Vallmoll with a small yet delicate treasure: the refurbishment of the façade of Ermita del Roser, which gave it incredible beauty and elegance. Declared a Bé Cultural d’Interès Local (Local Interest Cultural Site) and located just outside of Vallmoll, it is an ideal location to enjoy with the whole family.

We end our tour at the north of Alt camp, in Querol. Besides the Castle, you can actually visit on your own or thanks to a guided tour, we recommend discovering the so-called Hort de les Salamandres (Salamander Garden), a natural spot just next to the river Gaià, packed with ponds of great fauna diversity, particularly amphibian, which we’re pretty sure kids will love.

Discover these tiny spots in Alt Cap, enjoy Costa Daurada!
