Sea and mountain; Costa Daurada is a small paradise where different shades of blue caress a unique coastline, and where sea breeze, winds coming from the sea, refresh exceptional places topped by pre-coastal mountains. Would you like to find out more? If so, check out the following 3 viewpoints routes: Salou, the region of Baix Penedès and the Costa Daurada Mountains. Join us!

We begin by the sea, by means of a route you can enjoy all year round and which will provide you with stunning views. Simply follow the coastal path that sneaks round the coastline, a small route that will allow you to admire Llevant beach and where multicolour sunsets make it impossible not to feel emotional. You’ll also reach the Cala Morisca viewpoint, from where you can access Cala Crancs and dive in see-through waters of great beauty. Enjoy it! And then, near Cap Salou, the so-called Mirador de les Ànimes viewpoint stands out on a platform, which is ideal to immortalise the beauty of an incredible location. How do you like it? We’ll see you there!

Between the sea and the pre-coastal mountains, north of Costa Daurada, the region of Baix Penedès preserves 12 strategic spots. And all these viewpoints are joined by a 113-kilometre route you can enjoy on foot, by bicycle or driving nearby. The Baix Penedès viewpoints route starts at Albinyana and goes all the way through Bonastre, Masllorenç, El Montmell, La Bisbal del Penedès, Santa Oliva, Sant Jaume dels Domenys, L’Arboç, Cunit, Calafell and El Vendrell. These are special places where history’s effect can still be seen, with examples such as the Esquernosa castle, in Albinyana, the Romanesque hermitage of Sant Miquel, in El Montmell, or the watchtower of Banyeres del Penedès, among others.

This route does also offer historical landscapes, such as the old livestock path that joins Cunit and Santa Coloma de Queralt, or some spectacular watchtowers in Calafell, which will allow you to even see Cap Salou and the Garraf massif. These views will leave you speechless!

But you will also discover places where churches, hermitages, villages and small castles were built, which you can now visit by following a viewpoints route that will take you to L’Albiol, Almoster, Arbolí, Colldejou, Miami Platja, Prades, Riudecols, Riudoms, Vandellòs and Les Borges del Camp.

This route will let you enjoy mountains at its best. Check it out on foot, by bike or by car. Oh, and don’t forget to admire the excellent sea views these watchtowers in Baix Camp provide!

You’ll certainly have the entire Mediterranean at your feet. Are you in?
