The 12th edition of the SCAN Festival will focus on water as its main theme. Under the concept of "aqua," the festival will explore the multiple dimensions of this essential element: its fragility in the face of climatic pressures, conflicts over its scarcity, and its commodification.

Through photography, SCAN 2025 will seek to raise public awareness about the need for more just and sustainable management of this vital resource, inviting artists and citizens to reflect on its significance and vulnerability.
