Route description

This is one of the longest routes we propose, but the trip through the Priorat and the Baix Camp will allow you to enjoy both spectacular sea and mountain views. We leave Cambrils heading towards Mont-roig del Camp, where we start the first mountain pass to the Colldejou pass, which opens the doors to the Priorat for us. From here, we make a quick descent to Marçà and start the second port ascending from Falset to the Coll de Falset pass, with spectacular views of Porrera in the background. From Porrera we start the ascent to La Teixeta, from where we will have a fun descent to Duesaigües. We will pass the Riudecanyes dam and arrive at Montbrió del Camp. From here, we still have about 20 km, always with favourable terrain until Vila-seca, to finish the route with even 6 km from Salou to Cambrils.

Point of interest: On the road from Mont-roig to Marçà, we can stop at the Castell d’Escornalbou and at the Ermita de la Mare de Déu de la Roca.We also advise you to visit Castell del Vi Castle in Falset, a museum located in the old Castle of the Prades de Falset Counts, raised in the 12th century after the Christian reconquest of the New Catalonia, on a strategic hill overlooking the village of Falset.

A thermal circuit

Surrounded by botanical gardens of centenary plants and sculptures, we find the Hotel Hotel Termes Montbrió, in Montbrió del Camp, built at the point where a source of thermal water was found. A walk through Porrera

To the east of the Priorat, region, a few kilometres from Coll de la Teixeta, we find Porrera. This town, apart from being known throughout the world for its connection with wine and with the singer Lluís Llach, has many points of interest, such as the San Antonio Abad hermitage, built in the 17th century, or the many scattered sun clocks throughout the urban centre and its municipal term. The most significant are the inclined vertical clock, the `Reloj de Tarde´ (Afternoon Clock), on Plaza de la Guineu square and the large, inclined vertical quadrant, located in Pau Casals Street.

The Riudecanyes Dam is a unique space to practice different nautical activities. From April onwards, you can practice kayak, paddle surf or pedal boats surrounded by nature. Do not miss the fantastic feeling of living on a beautiful lake!
