Events GASTRONOMIC DAYS

The rich range of products offered by the Costa Daurada (Golden Coast) makes it possible that many villages organize Gastronomic Days to show the gastronomic and wines wealth of the Tarragona counties. Throughout the year, visitors can attend popular xatonadas, wine, oil and hazelnut fairs. There are also Gastronomy Congresses, like in Cambrils, or specific product days, like the tuna days in L´Hospitalet de L´Infant, or the Omelette in Sauce days, in Ulldemolins. You cannot forget the great calçotada (grilled onions) feast celebrated the last Sunday of January in Valls, or the celebration of the potato campaign start in Prades. In addition, in some locations such as Cambrils and Torredembarra you can enter the fish market where fishermen auction the fish and, thus, you can witness an everyday activity and become a true fisherman for one day with the activities they organize.
