CULTURAL ATTRACTIONS MUSEUMS, INTERPRETATION CENTRES AND OBSERVATORIES

Mammuthus is an archaeological interpretation center at the Barranc de la Boella Site. It is a cultural and interactive experience where you can learn about the heritage of La Canonja. An important heritage for humanity, dating back a million years! 

You will discover what the environment, landscape and animals were like at that time. It also shows the relationship that humans had with this territory, the importance of the tools they created from stones and how this technology provided them with an adaptive advantage.

Mammuthus is a journey through human evolution, from the time the first hominids left Africa and arrived in Europe, and more specifically, their passage and development in the Iberian Peninsula.
