Apel·les Fenosa Foundation
The Apel·les Fenosa Foundation presents original sculptures in terracotta and plaster and a selection the artist’s monumental bronzes. Apel·les Fenosa (Barcelona 1899 - Paris 1988) moved to Paris where he came into contact with other avant-garde artists, including Picasso. While there his work inspired some of the most important poets of his time. The Foundation, which is based in the artist’s former summer residence and studio, organises temporary exhibitions and events related to the work of the sculptor and other contemporary artists. The foundation is one of the stops on the “Landscape of the Geniuses” itinerary (Antoni Gaudí · Joan Miró · Pau Casals · Pablo Picasso) +info www.elpaisatgedelsgenis.cat.
