Beaches and Coves Beaches

Platja del Cavet

Cavet Beach in Cambrils, the gastronomic capital of the Costa Daurada, is a very quiet, semi-urban beach. Between Prat d'en Forès-Regueral and L'Esquirol Beaches, it is 574 metres long. Its sand is coarser than on the other beaches as the Riudoms Torrent, a protected nature area for its indigenous flora and fauna, flows onto it. Its bathing waters are calm and crystal-clear. Access to the sea is via a gentle slope, making it ideal for families with children. It is on the seafront promenade and, like all Cambrils’ beaches, it can be reached on foot or by bicycle along the cycle path.

Easy to get to by car and to park, Cavet Beach has several services, including a toy library, sun lounger and parasol hire, a lifeguard and first aid post, beach bars, and a ramp for people with reduced mobility. If you are a water sports enthusiast, the beach offers a wide choice, as well as an open water swimming channel.

Cavet Beach is one of four beaches in Cambrils with the Blue Flag that accredits its excellent cleanliness and environmental quality. Night-time rod fishing is also allowed from 9 pm to 3 am.
