Beaches and Coves Beaches

Platja del Canyadell

Canyadell Beach in Torredembarra is the smallest beach in this municipality in the northern third of the Costa Daurada. Some 60 metres long with fine, golden sands that slope gently into warm, calm crystalline waters, it is in a cove surrounded by cliffs that combine rock and typical Mediterranean vegetation.

In addition to its natural beauty, Canyadell Beach is characterised by its tranquillity and the nearby Torredembarra lighthouse, the last to be built in the whole of Spain, and which offers guided tours. It is easily accessible on foot, by car or by bus, with a stop right in front of the beach.

Services include a bathing area indicated by natural biotope marker buoys, a lifeguard service, an access ramp, a kiosk selling drinks and ice cream, a toilet and a recycling point. It also stands out for its environmental quality, which is accredited with the Blue Flag.
