Platja de l'Ardiaca
L’Ardiaca Beach in Cambrils, the gastronomic capital of the Costa Daurada, is the resort’s most southerly beach. Some 2,000 metres long, it is located between two gullies, the Riudecanyes Torrent and the Torrent d'en Gené. Its fine, golden sands are mixed with small pebbles carried down by the seasonal streams. They slope gently into the calm, crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean and are ideal for families with children. The beach is protected by stone breakwaters. It is on the seafront promenade and, like all Cambrils' beaches, it can be reached on foot or by bicycle along the cycle path.
Easy to get to by car and to park, L’Ardiaca Beach offers a variety of facilities and services, including an “oasis” with a children's playground, sun loungers and parasols for hire, beach bars, a lifeguard and first aid post, and a ramp for people with reduced mobility. If you like sports and want to share a good time with the family, you can enjoy the volleyball court on the beach.
Night-time rod fishing is allowed from 9 pm to 3 am.
