La Pineda Beach in the municipality of Vila-seca-La Pineda is famous for its more than three kilometres of fine golden sands that slope gently into the calm, crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean, making it ideal to enjoy with the whole family. In fact, the long promenade that runs along the beach of La Pineda is one of the largest urban public spaces open to the sea on the whole of the Costa Daurada and one of the most highly valued beaches on the entire Catalan coast. 

In high season, La Pineda Beach offers a variety of free experiences, including sports and educational activities, environmental workshops, and activities to promote health and well-being, such as yoga or the celebration of full moons. Most of these activities are designed for the enjoyment of people of all ages.

The Children's Club and Sports Club offer various services, equipment and activities. The beach also has wooden walkways and assisted bathing with an amphibious wheelchair, accessible showers and toilets, and separate parking for people with reduced mobility on the Pau Casals Promenade.

The resort has been awarded the official Family Beach designation every year since 2011, recognising that many of its accommodation establishments, restaurants and leisure companies offer a wide range of facilities and activities designed especially for families. The beach also has the Blue Flag, an international recognition of the quality of the beach and its facilities and services.
