Beaches and Coves Beaches

Arrabassada Beach is one of Tarragona’s and the Costa Daurada’s iconic beaches. Located on Passeig Rafel de Casanova promenade, it is more than half a kilometre long (550m). Its fine golden sands slope gently into the warm, calm, crystal-clear Mediterranean waters, making it an ideal beach for families with children.

It is easy to get to on foot, by public transport or by car and there is car parking nearby. It has several beach bars serving food, beach sports on the sand, water sports, etc.

Arrabassada Beach has the Blue Flag accrediting the quality of the sand, the bathing waters and the tourist facilities it offers. It is also on the spectacular coastal footpath that connects all the beaches of Tarragona with those of Altafulla and Torredembarra.
