A GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE WITH CHARTREUSE

This liquor of French origin, the Chartreuse, became very popular in Tarragona when a distillery was set up in the city´s surroundings one hundred years ago. Nowadays, every year, the “Chartreuse at the Table” Cycle promotes gastronomic creativity with this long-lasting elixir. At the restaurants, you can enjoy `Cuttlefish with Onions and yellow Chartreuse´, `Battered rabbit ribs with chanterelle mushrooms and deconstructed Romesco Sauce with Chartreuse´, a `lemon yogurt with a touch of citric and Chartreuse in textures´ or `Tiramisu with orange and Chartreuse´.

During the whole month of April, the Association of Restaurateurs of l´Eixample of Tarragona adds tempting proposals like these to the menu cards of fifteen restaurants, patisseries and ice cream bars.
