Casa dels Lladres (“House of the Thieves”) Beach in Mont-roig i Miami Platja is one of the longest and widest beaches in this southern Costa Daurada municipality. Its 1,440 metres of fine, golden sand slope gently into the crystal-clear Mediterranean waters. This and the numerous services and facilities it offers make it ideal for families with children.

Facilities include a sports field, a lane marked out for kitesurfing, a floating fun platform for kids, a lifeguard post, an access walkway, showers and toilets, sun lounger and parasol hire, and a beach bar.

Casa dels Lladres Beach also stands out for its natural surroundings and its proximity to the Estany Gelat protected nature reserve, a wetland formed at the mouth of the ravine of the same name. The reserve is part of the Natura 2000 Network, a European initiative that promotes the creation of a network special protection areas. L’Estany Gelat is a favourite stopping place for migratory birds.
