Festival of the Painting of Santa Rosalia in Torredembarra

Every 15th July the town of Torredembarra holds a festival in honour of Santa Rosalia, its patron saint. The legend tells us that the painting of the saint saved the population from the plague in 1640. In gratitude the painting is brought in procession to the town centre.
Highlights: human tower exhibitions, the Procession of the Painting of Santa Rosalia and the seafarers’ procession in honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
