Beaches and Coves Beaches
Platja del Miracle/ Comandància
Miracle/Comandància Beach is the closest beach to the centre of Tarragona, the provincial capital and the largest city on the Costa Daurada. Located between Rafael Casanova Promenade and Robert d'Aguiló Street, Miracle Beach is some 500 metres long and has fine golden sands that slope gently into the crystal-clear Mediterranean waters.
Easily accessible on foot, by public transport and by car, Miracle Beach has seafront parking, beach bars and a designated area for dogs. It offers a range of facilities, including showers, footbaths, drinking fountains, toilets, walkways, a lifeguard and first aid service, and assisted bathing with an amphibious wheelchair.
Miracle Beach is on a long seafront promenade that connects it with Arrabassada Beach and, via the coastal footpath, with the rest of Tarragona's beaches. It also adjoins the facilities of the Royal Yacht Club of Tarragona and is one of the gateways to El Serrallo, the city’s traditional fishing quarter.
