Beaches and Coves Beaches

Platja de la Paella

La Paella Beach in Torredembarra is the longest beach in this municipality in the northern third of the Costa Daurada. Its 800 metres of fine, golden sand slope gently into the calm, clear waters of the Mediterranean, making it ideal for families with young children.

The beach is in the Els Munts area, next to the Marina and the seafront promenade. It offers various services and a sports zone with four volleyball courts and three beach football pitches that host championships all year round. In summer, sports campuses and gymnastics sessions are also organised there.

La Paella Beach has a channel for the entry and exit of jet skis and a signposted area for surfers. Its proximity to the Marina allows you to enjoy different water sports including scuba diving, snorkelling, paddle surfing, water skiing, kayaking, jet skiing, boat trips and surfing lessons.

It also has sun loungers and parasols for hire, beach bars, adapted public toilets, showers and drinking fountains, as well as access ramps for people with reduced mobility.

Very close to La Paella Beach is El Roquer, an area of cliffs about 2,000 metres long with a maximum height of 25 metres that runs from La Paella Beach to Canyadell Beach. On El Roquer you will find Torredembarra Lighthouse, the last lighthouse built in Spain and the tallest in Catalonia. There are guided tours of it throughout the year.
