Have you ever climbed a train that does not lift two feet off the ground? In the Misericordia Railway Park in Reus this is possible! The stationmaster hurries you up. The ticket-taker marks your tickets. The machine engineer reviews all the wagons to check that everyone is well seated. There are parents who have to bend their legs so much that their knees almost touch their face. On the miniature train both children and adults are welcome. The convoy is about to start and you hear the whistle: Beeeeep! We started the trip!

A group of railroads nerds of Reus premiered this circuit in 2003 with 300 track meters very near the Misericordia Sanctuary. Since then the passengers, especially the smallest, have not stopped enjoying this short train journey. It's a 3 minute stroll through the park, but who says it can not be repeated? The initiative of the Asociación de Amigos del Ferrocarril de Reus is a good excuse to approach the garden area of this Railway Park, and with a bit of luck you will also enjoy the myriad of train models and railway machinery that are exhibited.

TROS DE LA BRUJA´ AND THE GOBLINS

No matter how hard you insist, these little trains of Reus will not take you to the next stop on this TripIdea on the Costa Daurada (Golden Coast). To get to El Tros, a farm with many activities is ideal to undertake a tour on the fields with the mountain bike. You will find it halfway to Morell. Enjoy pedaling between olives tres and beware of road junctions!

You do not know how many surprises hide in the corners of these fields of El Tros. Francesc and Sònia, the monitors of the estate, have prepared a dozen games for the children. Players will have to fulfill a secret mission, complete the game of the giant goose or be skillful in the game of spies. Be careful, because the legend says that devilish witch and two guardian goblins have been seen in El Tros.

BECOME A FARMER

If you are called more bythe world of animals than by the world of nature, do not suffer, not far away you have Día de Granja (Farm Day), an outdoor area where you will discover mens´ friendliest beasts. Surely the cow Alfonsina, the goat Marvyn and the sow Lolita will be delighted to share their lives in the stable with you. A whole day dedicated to animals that can end with very special cooperation. Do you want to help build a terrarium for ants? Do you fancy a caressing workshop to help the donkey relax? Well, there's no need to search for it any longer! Let´s go to the Costa Daurada (Golden Coast)!

The good people of Farm Day recommend to bring the meat from home, order some good 'calçots' and cook everything on the grill they will lend you there. Bon appetite
