THE `SERRES DEL MESTRAL´ AND `DEL AIGUA AL COLL´ VIE FERRATE (PROTECTED CLIMBING ROUTES)

The first route is via ferrata Serres de Mestral, an excursion that must be done well equipped with helmet, harness, carabineers, double anchorage berry, abseiling-device and rope of 50 meters.

It is an excursion of approximately 5h30 round trip that will take you to the Cim dels Avencs (what a spectacular sight!). Along the way you must overcome rock walls, two rappels of 20 and 25 meters and narrow and dangerous chimneys. You have to be careful because it is an area where the wind blows with very strong! The ride is a breathtaking beauty.

The other great climbing excursion that can be done from Hospitalet dels Infants is the Agulla l'Aigua al Coll. It is a demanding route because it has few steps in the rock sections, so it forces the climber to optimize the movements and the strategy during the ascent. The same equipment is needed. The route takes its name from the stone needle known as Agulla de l’Aigua al Coll and the nwell with the same name. You will pass through a hole inside the rock, through a suspension bridge that joins two walls and a mandatory rappelling of about 20 meters to go down.

Hospitalet de l'Infant and the Vall de Llors Valey are full of paths and fabulous natural corners to discover by bicycle. They often unite some of the five nuclei that make up the municipality (Vandellòs, Masboquera, Masriudoms, Hospitalet de l'Infant and La Almadraba) or some of the existing almost virgin beaches.

For example, one of the easiest excursions is the one that connects the centre of L'Hospitalet with Punta Cala d'Oques, a journey of just over 2 km that offers quiet pedaling to the sea. Or if you want to make an excursion to the indoor, the circular route of Vandellòs, Remullà and Masets, between beautiful forests and landscapes of the rocky Mestral mountain range of.
